Walt Disney World’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is inspired by late-1800’s New York City. With equestrian theming and Victorian style, the Deluxe Villas wander playfully along Lake Buena Vista. It even has a country club-style golf course!
Room Types at Disney’s Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs is perfect for a family on a longer stay. With 1-, 2-, and even 3-bedroom Villas with full kitchens, washer, and dryer, there is room for everyone. It also has spacious Deluxe Studios, which include a kitchenette with small fridge and microwave. All rooms feature a porch or balcony.
The rooms are generous and upscale with classic, 1800s theming and plenty of open space, both indoors and out. Designed with comfort in mind, Disney Deluxe Villas are ideal for families and larger groups.
Villas
The Villas feature
- A full kitchen. Here, you can prepare meals and snacks from the comfort of your villa. (And avoid having to eat out for every meal!) This is a great option for families and individuals who are more health-conscious, as well.
- Spacious living and dining areas where your family can relax and share quality time together. I love sitting on the back porch with a view of the golf course and nature sanctuary!
- Separate bedrooms that offer space, privacy and tranquility. It’s easy to rest, relax and recharge your spirit after each exciting vacation day. So many of my clients want a bedroom separate from the kiddos. After a full day in the parks, it’s nice to have some quiet, adult time, as well.
- A washer and dryer, so you can pack lightly and avoid additional airline baggage fees. This is one of our favorite features of the Deluxe Villas!
Treehouse Villas
Saratoga Springs’s 3-Bedroom Treehouse Villas also feature private decks and charcoal grills. These fun and unique accommodations rise 10 feet off the ground and nestle amid the trees. Here, you are surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Deluxe Studios
For travelers who don’t need all that space, there are Deluxe Studios. Deluxe Studios include a kitchenette and sleeper sofa—a great option for smaller travel parties and shorter stays.
Pools at Saratoga Springs
There are 2 exciting feature pools at Saratoga Springs, as well as 3 leisure pools. Your kiddos (or you and your adult friends!) won’t have to look far for fun in the sun.
At High Rock Spring Pool near Saratoga Springs’s Carriage House, guests can enjoy cascading waterfalls, a zero-entry point and a waterslide built into the rocks. Children can splash through bubbling fountains at the Donald Duck play area and glide down a kid-sized waterslide:
In addition to The Paddock (the other feature pool), guests of all ages can enjoy one of three leisure pools, like this one near The Grandstand section I explored back in 2020.
Dining at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
Saratoga Springs offers a nice variety of dining options. The Artist’s Palette is next to the Carriage House where you check in. It is a colorful place to pick up groceries, order prepared foods, or order fresh-made fare. (I recommend the fresh potato crisps!)
For more formal dining, The Turf Club Bar and Grill echoes a racetrack clubhouse. It offers views of Lake Buena Vista and the peaceful expanse of the golf course. Reservations are strongly recommended here.
In addition, throughout the property, guests will find
- The Paddock Grill – at the Paddock Pool
- The Turf Club Lounge – in the Turf Club Bar & Grill
- Backstretch Pool Bar – in The Grandstand section (snacks and drinks)
- On the Rocks – pool bar near High Rock Spring Pool, and
- Chip ‘n Dale’s Cafe – a great spot for some healthier options, maybe after a game of golf!
- Pro Tip: They also offer light breakfasts here!
Spa and Gym
Of course it wouldn’t be Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa without a spa! Here, Disney’s own line of spas, Senses, boasts a variety of offerings. In addition, the health club provides a high-tech exercise facility featuring state-of-the-art training equipment. For runners, walkers, and joggers, paved paths at Saratoga Springs are a great place to get in some miles. For some Zen, practice yoga on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:00 AM.
- Pro Tip: Sunrise Yoga is held near Congress Park Pool overlooking Disney Springs. Get there early to secure your spot, as participation is limited to 20 participants.
Amenities and Recreation
From Painting Classes to Campfire Activities, Saratoga Springs has a wide variety of both included and fee-based recreation available. You and your kiddos will not be bored!
Bicycle and Surrey Bike rentals are available near the High Rock Spring Pool. Complimentary tennis racquets and balls are available for use on the tennis courts, and a basketball court is ready for play, as well.
When you’re ready to go over to Disney Springs (which you can literally see across Lake Buena Vista), it’s just a short walk or boat ride away.
