Hawaii is one of the most astonishingly beautiful places I have ever seen in person. The water in those snowglobes really is THAT blue!

Full of culture, history, and beauty, Hawaii’s islands offer opportunities for relaxation as well as well as adventure. Hawaii can be just the ticket for travelers who want an exotic but safe and accessible destination.

Cruising the Hawaiian Islands

Several cruise lines sail to Hawaii from the mainland. Voyages are available throughout the year and at a variety of prices. Passengers can choose to depart from San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Vancouver.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is the only line that offers around island cruises from Honolulu. Its passengers fly to and from the islands and spend more of their vacation in Hawaii with no days crossing the Pacific. It departs and returns round trip to Honolulu and visits Kahului (Maui), Kona, Hilo (Hawaii), and Nawiliwili (Kauai).

Currency & Tipping

U.S. currency, credit cards, and traveler’s checks are used. ATMs are available at the airport and throughout the islands 24/7. Tipping practices follow U.S. standard
